Our Passion

FLatwater is a feeling. If you are passionate about the water like we are, you know what feeling I’m talking about. That feeling you get when you were up late the night before. Tying lines, rigging baits, and doing your last minute checks on the boat. No matter how many times you have been in this situation, you have a terrible nights sleep because of anticipation of the adventures that await you in the morning. You roll out of bed way too early, grab a gas station breakfast and a cup of coffee. You arrive at the boat ramp well before the sun rises. You and your buddy launch the boat before daylight.  You have finally made it, this is what you have been waiting all week for. The winds are dead calm. The sun is just breaking the horizon. You ease into your favorite creek and just as you drop the trolling motor you notice a blow up along the nearby grass line. Your senses tingle when you realize, bait fish are being chased by your prey. A spoonbill is wading the shallows hunting for grass shrimp. If it weren’t for your vessel, there wouldn’t be a ripple on the water. You turn to your buddy and you say “man, look how FLat it is this morning”. There is nothing else like it, that feeling will always keep us coming back. That feeling is the reason we started FLatwaterFishing. To share our passion for the water and all it has to offer, to share that FLatwater feeling, and to live the FLatwater lifestyle!
